Is this year's show the same as the 2008 performance? No.  This year's show is entitled Jingle in the City - a totally new show with a storyline, choreography, costumes, and music created specifically for this year's production!

How much do tickets cost? Tickets are just $10.00 each - about the average cost of a movie ticket.

Where can I buy tickets? The best way to purchase your ticket is on-line by clicking here. You may also purchase tickets in the Welcome Center or Main Street (church lobby) Ticket Booth at Thomas Road Baptist Church.

Is there reserved seating? Yes.  Your $10.00 ticket is for a specific seat that you choose at the time of purchase.

Is there handicapped seating available? Yes. Handicapped seating is available throughout the auditorium, including the balcony.

Do children need a ticket to view the performance? Any person over the age of 2 years old must have a ticket to enter the performance.

Is there child care provided during the performance? No.  Your children will love the production which is fast-paced and full of lights and music.  A cry room, which allows you to enjoy the production, is provided for your convenience.

Can I use my ticket for more than one performance? No.  A ticket must be purchased for each performance.

Where will the performances be held? In the main sanctuary of Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia.  You can get the address and driving directions by clicking here.

When do the doors open for each performance? The doors will open to ticketed patrons one hour prior to the scheduled time for each performance.

May I take pictures or video during the performance? We ask that you refrain from taking photos and video during the performances.  It is distracting to the performers and the patrons around you.  A professionally produced DVD will be available for you to purchase and take home immediately after each performance.  

I'm not a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church, can I still attend the Virginia Christmas Spectacular? Absolutely!  We welcome and encourage visitors to attend.  Bring your friends and family with you - they will enjoy it as much as you will.

How long is the performance? Jingle in the City runs approximately two hours in length.

Can I buy tickets at the door on the day of the performance? Yes, but we suggest you purchase your tickets now as performances may sell out.  You may call 1-888-244-2178 up to one hour before the scheduled start of the performance to purchase tickets and have them held for you at the Will Call desk.  Within an hour of the performance you may call 434-592-4894 to inquire about ticket availability.

Will my tickets be mailed to me? Any tickets purchased after November 13 will be held for you at the Will Call desk and may be picked up prior to the performance.  The Will Call desk is located on Main Street in the Thomas Road Baptist Church lobby.

Is it OK to bring my unsaved friends to Jingle in the City? It is the perfect opportunity to reach out to friends, family and colleagues who need to hear the gospel.  The Virginia Christmas Spectacular, while a fun and entertaining holiday event, is first and foremost an evangelistic opportunity to win souls for Christ.
